Hi everyone! It is a beautiful evening to write blogs ( Because I am a great fan of Grey’s anatomy) 😬. How was your day? It’s the weekend y’all so unwind because you’ve got long reading to do, I’ll do my best to make it interesting.
I am part of a bible study group and it has really helped my life in tremendous ways,I have studied the bible more and gained understanding of the things I read; this is something I just learnt and I had to share it with u guys. Uhmmm you’re going to need a bible too. ✌🏼️
Matt 25:14-30: The parable of the talents; you know, the story where the master that’s going away gives his servants talents 5,2,1. Read the passage for a more detailed story or if u know the story by heart great!
Now! The story’s lesson is made known from the mistake of the third servant and what he did with his one talent. His deepest mistake was lack of understanding. The passage tells us the master gave the talents according to their abilities and he came back to ask what was done with them. The first two understood what they were to do and did it but the third one wasn’t just ignorant but wicked and greedy because as we know he went and he buried the talent even went as far as blaming his master for the talent given lol..real silly right? Person dash u something u still de insult am on top, I don’t think anyone would take that.
God created us and he put talents in everyone of us, unique to fit our personality and style ( if yours takes you out of your comfort zone lol you are destined for great things my guy), now it is total wickedness not to use our gifts;hiding them in our hearts, we need to show God’s glory through them. Fine! U know what your talent is, but how many times have you glorified He that gave it to you, my guy this is more than thanking God once in a while for the blessings it brought you o or giving a short speech about how he brought u out of wherever you were and showcased your talent and it brought u plenty money; how many lives have you led to God with your talent? You do not know the lives you are risking by not using your gift or using it wisely because there are people that would have been inspired to find and use their gifts because of you or even inspired to find God’s love.Honey, hobby is different from God’s given talent o, It is only God that can show or tell you what your talent is, and do not compare yourself to others!! We say this all the time but when it comes down to this we are guilty, God created us, he knows us deeply more than we even know ourselves, he knows what we are capable of, what we can handle so no matter how little u feel ur talent is, u can achieve great things with it. If God gives u so much it is because he believes you can handle it, if he gives u little it could be a test, to see if u can handle that and the big one coming your way, would u want to fail God’s test??? Lol that will b disastrous.
There’s a verse in the chapter where the master said ” To him that has, more will be given and to him that doesn’t have even the one he has will be taken”. Please!!! If this doesn’t hit a nerve I dunno what will. Answer me this, Can something be taken from you if it isn’t with you or for u? God never created anyone without gifts you guys! So stop thinking that u have none because you do, you have no excuse! So people don’t even try or they say they can’t, if u can only try, u will be amazed at what u can achieve for the lord.
There is a thing called activation of gifts, it is there doesn’t mean it is activated, I never thought I would be one to enjoy studying the word or praying or even sharing the word, I just didn’t think I’d have things to say , till I let God work on me. Before your talent can b activated you Gotta know what it is first, which isn’t something u can do on your own o, U have to ask him to show it to you, He isn’t a stingy God, in fact it is your own sef, na just to know wetin e be and for that to be revealed to you, you have to walk with him then he will reveal this and more to you, he will even be giving you expo, “Use it here, you will get more results”, He will never ask you to do something you are not equipped for, that’s why we have the Holy Spirit, to equip us where we need equipping lol, the servant guy was jealous that he got less than the others, you want to go and be doing great things when the little God gave you is still pending?? How na? U cannot deceive God brethren, it is step by step, there are levels to this, pass one level and he takes you to another, with a greater assignment than the last one, also God has to establish the fact that He can trust u with power so u don’t get full of pride at what u can do and God hates pride ( Proverbs 6:16).
Most people nowadays believe that their talent or gifts are meant to be used in church while this is a good thing it isn’t the case because the real work is outside the church, in your school, office , places he has put you in, that’s where your talent should be put into great use. Yes there is a reward for service to God and Man in the church but this isn’t a do or die affair, the real work is outside the church, if u do all the work in church and those outside are not partaking in it u have failed! Let me just tell u the truth, Jesus said he didn’t come for the church and the saints but for those that aren’t saved. So take your minstry to the world! Those that have work in church will know and be doing that. We didn’t choose our gifts, we can’t even, you cannot say you want to change the purpose of your existence which is greater than to wake up, eat, make money and die. God will let you in on why he created you and you Gotta work it. Religion isn’t what we are here for; eye-service will lead you nowhere. We are here for kingdom purpose, not church ( Religion) these are two totally different things. Here’s how; Kingdom is lifestyle, Religion is a front, Kingdom is relationship, Religion is transaction (bargaining with God because u want something) Kingdom is love for God, Religion is using God ( praying or going to church when things aren’t working out ). I stand for kingdom, it is my way of life.
Walking with God is sweeeeet! God is crazy about you, when u tap into that mercy and love u will get high on it because it is love that will not break your heart, u don’t have to wonder if it has died or not because it is everlasting.
The purpose of our gift is for the kingdom, populating it because the devil is never on a break, he doesn’t go on vacation so why should we?

It takes discipline and God can provide that.
